Licensing (General for Real Estate and Rental)

Additional licensing may be required.

 

Licensing For Real Estate Properties:

All photographs created by Welton Media are the intellectual property of Welton Media and are licensed, not sold.​ Your purchase is a non-exclusive, non-transferrable, limited-use license for digital & print use for advertising the sale of a single property.

Permitted Use:

• MLS listings

• Social media posts for the property

• Flyers, postcards, and other marketing for that listing

Prohibited Use:

• Using the photos for other properties

• Giving the photos to another agent, homeowner, buyer, vendor, builder, publication or contractor to use

• Advertising outside the sale of the property listing (example: a billboard to advertise your services/brokerage and the photo as a backdrop, trade show banners, images used as part of a magazine spread, etc)

• Altering images in any way other than cropping or resizing (e.g., virtual staging, AI alterations, virtual renovation, filters, etc).

If you want to use the images for something outside the original listing, please contact me for additional licensing options.

The license ends when the home sells, rents, or the listing agreement ends.

The Copyright for all photographs, videos, and other content captured and delivered while rendering services remain with Welton Media LLC and are protected under local and international copyright laws. Copyright is not transferable. 

This includes, but is not limited to photographs, floorplans, video content, media kit templates, and 3D Tours. 

Welton Media LLC reserves the right to use any images and/or media for advertising or portfolio purposes.

Licensing for Rental Properties:

All photographs created by Welton Media are the intellectual property of Welton Media and are licensed, not sold. The Copyright for all photographs, videos, and other content captured and delivered while rendering services remain with Welton Media LLC and are protected under local and international copyright laws. Copyright is not transferable. 

By booking a rental property shoot, you (the property owner or authorized representative) are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited-use license for marketing and advertising the specific property photographed, under the following terms:

 

Permitted Use:

• Display on short-term and long-term rental listing platforms (e.g., Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, Zillow, Apartments.com) for the property photographed.

• Use in printed or digital marketing materials for the property photographed, including flyers, brochures, and email campaigns.

• Use on the property owner’s or property management company’s website and social media accounts to promote the property photographed.

 

Prohibited Use:

• Using the images to market or advertise any property other than the one photographed.

• Transferring, selling, or giving image files to another owner, property manager, real estate agent, or third party for reuse.

• Altering images in any way other than cropping or resizing (e.g., virtual staging, AI alterations, virtual renovation, filters, etc).

• Using the images after the property changes ownership without a new licensing agreement.

 

Duration of License:
This license remains valid for as long as you own the property and continue to operate it as a rental. If the property is sold, transferred, or no longer operated as a rental, the license automatically terminates and all usage of the images must cease unless a new license is purchased.

Enforcement:
Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of Welton Media’s images outside the terms of this license will result in additional licensing fees and/or legal action. When in doubt, reach out to Welton Media for confirmation.
